We here at WALKERANDANDY.COM truly believe that WALKERANDANDY.COM is the only website that anybody should ever need.  However, if for some unforeseen reason you feel compelled to visit a website other than WALKERANDANDY.COM, try these.  They aren't as good as WALKERANDANDY.COM of course, but hey, not every website can be.

WDVX   -  Careful!  This site is contagious! Many report they almost never leave after visiting.  WDVX is the South's number one Americana radio station originating from studios in downtown Knoxville. Their musical mix is wide and healthy and their devotion to both the culture of the East Tennessee Valley and the talented performers who live there is unparalleled.

The Cumberland Trio  - On November 9th 2001 the founding fathers of the folk movement in East Tennessee came home to Knoxville for a reunion concert. In the early 1960s The Cumberland Trio started the folk scene in Gatlinburg as they were simultaneously emerging to national prominence from the Hootenanny Stages at the University of Tennessee.  For information on the guys visit their website and if they are in your area make a point to spend the evening with them.

Audio Matters  - Without the skill, talent, and amazing sense of humor of Trevor Reddick, Walker and Andy's first CD might never have been completed.  Previous mixing problems, glitches, and various bumps in the road were all smoothed over by Trevor.  With his blend of great patience working in lockstep with his amazing talent our CD greatly exceeded our expectations.  Thank you Trevor!  Contact Trevor at Audio Matters for your next project at: 865 933 1207      Or Click Audio Matters link above to email

Wood, Wind & Wire - When we got the call to play the Clinch River Antique Festival we had no idea how great a day it would be.  Not only did we get to enjoy a glorious fall afternoon in a historic city, we were also privileged to experience the music of Wood, Wind & Wire.  If you like sounds that carry you over, beyond and back then please visit their website and grab their CD.  Also be sure to sign up for their newsletter and if they are in your area don't miss seeing them!

Ben McWhorter is more than the new Manager of Local Sales for Knoxville's WIVK radio, he is a wealth of media knowledge.  His site can answer questions about what to watch, read and listen to while telling where all of the above are located.  Add to the fact that Ben is a mega Vol fan and posts Walker's media columns on his site and you can understand why we want you to check out benmac.com!
