"All Over The Road" with Wayne Bledsoe

Walker has been a guest twice now on Wayne
Bledsoe's "All Over The Road" Show. The featured music
reviewer and longtime writer for the Knoxville News Sentinel packs
an extensive and eclectic load of personal CDs into WDVX for the
monthly show.
Walker's visits to the show is a blatant plug
for Walker and Andy and their CD, 405. Wayne knows it and
STILL asks him to come back time and time again. The latest

August 2004
Over 90 people gathered to honor Choral Master
and teacher Don Brakebill at his daughter's home. Brakebill
was Walker and Andy's choir director at First Baptist Maryville from
the late 50s until the early 70s. Although he suffered great
emotional trauma inflicted by the guys as they disrupted both
rehearsals and concerts he has managed to continue to move forward
and today still teaches voice and conducts several community choirs.
Brakebill's choirs have been a staple of the Biltmore Christmas
Celebration and his individual students over the years have included
everyone from company executives to even Walker and Andy. The
reunion was a great celebration of a man who has touched thousands
and is continuing to do so.

WDVX Radio
Walker and Andy sang for a full hour on the
south's number one Americana station, WDVX!! The guys concert
was carried live on the station and originated in the new WDVX
performance studio in downtown Knoxville. If you didn't get to

Petes. This was one of the most fun nights they've had with their

on the river. Starting this spring Walker and Andy will be there

evening Walker and Andy rang "out" the Thanksgiving weekend in style
at Deadbeat Petes in Townsend. The boys played in front of a warm
fire to an even warmer reception. With a dinner audience only steps
away from the guitars it was more like a gathering of friends than a
gig. One of the many great things to come from the night was an
invitation to return in the spring. Thanks Devin and Patti!

Walker & Andy returned to Maryville's newest and best Blues/Acoustic bar, BRACKINS. Since the grand opening in June, Brackins has
become "the" place for live music in downtown Maryville. The
bar is located in a turn of the century building, filled with
history and stories. Brackins owners, Linda and Mark, did a
total renovation that included exposing the 100+ year old hardwood
on the bar side and the 75 year old floor covering in the listening
room. This great old building has limited seating so come
early on the 3rd. Brackins, a major investor in the renaissance of
downtown Maryville, welcomes back Walker & Andy!
